A PICTORIAL TRIBUTE TO "Jaya Shopping Centre"!

I'll be missing you as Jaya Shopping Centre's being demolished. Jaya Shopping Centre was the 1st shopping mall in Petaling Jaya. It opened to Petaling Jaya folks in 1974. In 1994, it received a major Renovation and turned "Blue" with 6 more storey of office suites added on top of the shopping mall.

I remembered vividly the "largest toy store" in the 80s (till 1988 when Toy's R Us Subang Parade surpassed them, Kathy's toys (eventually replaced with Popular). Had a great time "shopping for toys" there. I also remembered buying few watches from Hing's watch and dining at "Jaya Noodle House". Also, I accompanied my dad to "Jaya DIY" Hardware shop located inside the Jaya Shopping Complex.

Without further ado, let's walk in Memory lane as I present you the 20+ Photos I took in memory of Jaya Shopping Centre (on February 2008)... Enjoy!

(Note: This blog entry obviously is NOT RELATED TO USED CAR Review (otoreview) at all. This is just a dedication by me for the now-started-to-demolish Jaya Shopping Centre).
