The highly anticipated iPhone 4 will be coming to Malaysia courtesy of DiGi, according to a news release that just went up on their website. In the simple two-liner, DiGi says that they will launch the iPhone 4 “in the coming months” but left out details on a solid RRP or release date.
DiGi to bring in iPhone 4 to Malaysia
SHAH ALAM, 20 JULY 2010: DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") will launch iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the world with the highest resolution display ever built into a phone, in Malaysia in the coming months.
To register your interest, please visit www.digi.com.my/iphone4. For more information on iPhone 4, please visit www.apple.com/iphone.
Keep in mind though, that this doesn’t by any means indicate that DiGi will be the only telco to bring in the iPhone 4. For all we know, Maxis could very well be planning their retaliation strategy as you read this. But let’s put such speculation aside for now.

In the meantime, you can hit up www.digi.com.my/iphone4 and submit your details on the online form to be kept in the loop of DiGi’s future iPhone 4 news.

Update: As predicted, Maxis have gone on the offensive and have launched their own "interest gauging" website at http://bit.ly/bbqlqY
